WHAT WE DO
The mission focuses on promoting community engagement by hosting various events and programs that emphasize education, the arts, and cultural heritage. The Center organizes an annual cultural festival, along with workshops and other activities, to provide a platform for individuals to showcase, explore, and appreciate the diverse traditions and artistic expressions of Guatemala.
In 2016, the City of Providence and Guatemala City signed a sister city agreement in an effort to strengthen and expand in areas related to economic development, education, tourism, and culture.​
Our Mission
To promote and share Guatemalan culture, establish cultural connections between Guatemala and New England, and identify and develop strategies to address the needs of Guatemalans in the region.
