Guatemalan Festival
The Guatemalan Center has been hosting its flagship event, the Festival Guatemala, since 2010. This vibrant celebration honors Guatemala's rich cultural heritage and showcases various traditions, arts, and cuisine from the region. The festival not only highlights the rich aspects of Guatemalan culture but also serves as a gathering point for the community to celebrate and share their cultural pride.
Over the years, the Festival has become the largest Guatemalan Festival in the region. It is renowned for its family-friendly atmosphere, featuring a variety of activities and entertainment that honor Guatemala's traditions, making it a cherished occasion for locals and visitors to attend.
This cultural celebration, which takes place in September, transforms the public space at the Templo to Music in Roger Williams Park, Providence.
Quetzal Award Gala
The Quetzal Award Gala is a prestigious annual event dedicated to honoring individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to the community. The evening begins with a cocktail hour, providing guests with the opportunity to network and connect.
